Ruy Rêgo



Ruy Rego has a degree in Civil Engineering and Economics from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Public Health of the University of London and has over 20 years of experience in real estate, hospitality, Land Development, construction, and urban infrastructure.

Historical Summary

Prior to Iron House, he was CEO of Odebrecht Realizações Imobiliárias (OR) for 10 years, the real estate arm of the Odebrecht group, one of the largest Brazilian conglomerates. He led a series of projects with Odebrecht, such as the development of Costa do Sauípe, the first planned international tourist destination in Brazil, the development of Reserva do Paiva, the development of Rota dos Coqueiros, the concession management of toll road/bridge of Reserva do Paiva, where he currently operates as a board member.

Prior to joining Odebrecht, Ruy worked in the public sector as CEO of the planning and urban development company of Olinda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and during his leadership the company's focus was the urbanization of slum areas, and implementation of waste management projects (recycling and composting).

Ruy did academic work at University of London, the first with a scholarship from the British Council in a Master's program (1990-1991) and then as Research Fellow (1991-1994) in Environmental Health Engineering, financed by the World Bank and UK-Overseas Development Management. He also worked as a consultant in urban development and sanitation with several international missions for the World Bank, the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and GTZ (German international cooperation agency).

He is a civil engineer with a graduate degree in economic engineering and environmental health engineering. He was a researcher at the University of London, funded by the World Bank. Currently, he has a seat on the Advisory Board of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate.

Jayro Poggi

Director of Engineering and Development


Jayro Poggi is a former executive of Odebrecht Realizações Imobiliárias and has over 15 years of experience in construction and real estate development in many countries. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidade de Pernambuco, with a specialization in Production Management from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, and graduate programs in project management by the Fundação Getulio Vargas Foundation/University of California - Irvine.

Historical Summary

Jayro Poggi was responsible for the engineering and development department of Arena Pernambuco and Arena Fonte Nova, two stadiums built for the 2014 World Cup, including the development of the Cidade da Copa, Recife International Airport, and others.

He also managed projects within Reserva do Paiva, including the development of the 'Reserva do Paiva' planned community, the residential 'Morada da Península' and the development/construction of the Paiva toll road (Rota dos Coqueiros Concession).

Arthur Costa

Planning and Management Director


Arthur Costa Neto is a former executive at WBS and Odebrecht S/A. He has over 10 years experience in Project Management, Construction, Hospitality, and Real Estate. He has an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral/Kellogg MBA and Fundação Getulio Vargas(FGV).

Historical Summary

Arthur was the Project Director responsible for the project Grand Natal Golf in Natal-RN, a development of 2,000 hectares and 6 km of coastline.

As Asset Manager, he was responsible for monitoring and evaluating project performance such as the 'Costa do Sauipe,' the first planned international tourist destination in Brazil, the planned community 'Reserva do Paiva,' a residential real estate venture, and the 'Rota dos Coqueiros', the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) road in Brazil.

Arthur is a PMP (Project Management Professional) certified by PMI (Project Management Institute) and served as Project and Program Manager for companies like Odebtrecht, Copesul, WTorre, Petrobras, and Dow Chemical.

Danila Magalhães

Financial Director


Danila Magalhães holds a degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal da Bahia and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - EAESP, São Paulo. She has approximately 20 years of experience in the financial market, with passages in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Project Finance, Structured Finance Operations and Securitization. She worked for 10 years at Banco Bradesco S/A, occupying several functions, reaching the Superintendence of Banco Bradesco BBI S/A.

Historical Summary

- Danila has extensive experience in M​​&A Operations and participated in the closing of important operations in several sectors of the economy.

- Acted in the development and implementation of the Project Finance product within Banco Bradesco, being responsible for capturing clients, managing teams and supporting commercial areas in credit approvals to finance the Projects.

- At Banco Bradesco BBI S/A, She occupied the Superintendence and was responsible for Structured Finance Operations, participating in the origination, structuring and execution of securitization operations - FIDCs and CRIs, pre-IPO financing operations and financing for acquisition.

- She is currently responsible for the treasury of the Cornélio Brennand Group, where she also holds the position of Chief Financial Officer of Iron House, the Group's real estate development company.

Cornélio Brennand Group

The history and long-term vision of the Grupo Cornélio Brennand started in 1917 in the ceramic industry, and evolved throughout the 20th century in different sectors, such as cement, steel, and glass, always bringing to Brazil internationally recognized technologies.
